Wilson-the table doesn't lie

Bristol City boss Danny Wilson has warned his team not to expect an easy ride in the play-offs despite coming within a point of automatic promotion.
"There is no room for complacency," he said after City beat Blackpool 2-1.

"For Hartlepool, getting there is an achievement, but they will want to go further and we face two tough games.

"You only have to look at what happened to Hereford in the Conference to know the highest-placed team in the play-offs doesn't necessarily go through."

Wilson was generous in his praise of Queens Park Rangers, who pipped his side to second place.

"The table doesn't lie at this stage of the season, so it's hats off to QPR, who have shown a lot of resilience," he added.

"The pressure was on them. The way Sheffield Wednesday have played this season, we knew we couldn't rely on them for a result.
"But it was still a tough last game for QPR and they came through it."
