Warnock keen to add new signings

"I think most teams in the Championship are like that this season where they go with quality instead of quantity."

However, Warnock has ruled out signing former Watford striker Marlon King, who has just been released from prison.

"All I said was that I believe he deserves another chance. He won't be coming to QPR but I'm sure he'll get a club," he said.

The Rangers manager says he is pleased to welcome back Peter Ramage and Martin Rowlands against Sheffield United this weekend.

I feel ever so proud when I look at the stadium and see how we built it up in my time there, over 24,000 and all the corners filled in, it still feels like my club

Warnock is particularly excited to welcome back club captain Rowlands, and revealed that he had a chat with his skipper about being using his experience wisely when he returns to the first team fold.

"I had a chat with Martin and he is still as enthusiastic as he's ever been," he said. "I told him he must not get frustrated with himself and end up lunging into tackles where he might pick up another injury.

He has looked sharp in training and is eager to get back into the first team squad."

This weekend's fixture sees Warnock return to Bramall Lane alongside Paddy Kenny, the former Blades keeper. Warnock says he is not worried about the reception he will receive but hopes that Kenny is given a good welcome.

He said: "Paddy should get a great reception, he was there for around nine years, and I'll be disappointed if he gets some stick as I don't think he deserves it but I know how fickle some fans can be."

Warnock is proud of the job he did in Yorkshire and still holds a special affinity for the club he managed for over seven years.

"I feel ever so proud when I look at the stadium and see how we built it up in my time there, over 24,000 and all the corners filled in, it still feels like my club."
