Vine Admits Away Form A Delight

The Hoops have almost matched the three wins they achieved away from Loftus Road last season having already won twice from their first five away matches, however, Vine does admit that their home form had been of concern before last weekend's 5-2 mauling of Barnsley.

"We have been delighted with the results recently, especially the back-to-back away wins recently, which we have been trying to do for quite a while," the Rangers striker has told Sky Sports

"Picking up points on the road has been a struggle for us over the past couple of years, so that has been pleasing. Our home form has been a little disappointing, despite earning draws from a couple of games which we went behind in, but hopefully we will sort that out soon.

"Before the Barnsley game we hadn't been playing very well at home, but at the same time we weren't getting beaten that much either, so the roles have reversed a little as our home form was the reliable one whereas that is where we are struggling at the minute.

"However, I do feel the first-half performance against Barnsley blew away the Loftus Road cobwebs a little and now we can go from strength-to-strength at home again."
