No Brucey bonus for Paul
With at least 19 players being out of contract between now and the end of the season, it was inevitable many would have to go. In the case of the above four, the loss to QPR will be minimal.

Hopefully all will go on to find new clubs. Stuart Wardley should be offered a deal by Rushden and Diamonds after enjoying a decent spell on loan with the club, whilst Warren has attracted the interest of Oxford United.

Alex Bonnot's six-month deal with QPR is due to end next week. Holloway has expressed a wish to keep him, but may be forced to let him go.

Bonnot said: "The manager is happy with me and I would like to stay, but it is up to the administrators. It is difficult to understand that a player can spend almost the whole season at a club and then be told he cannot be re-signed with just two months of it left".

Holloway has also expressed concern about the youth system in place before his arrival at the club. "The youth policy more or less put us in the situation we are in and what we have been expecting is those players to come into the first-team and be saleable assets" he said.

"Hopefully next year one or two of them will but at the moment there are a lot of them that are on first-team money and I can't pick them because they're not good enough. That's killing us at the moment but we've gone some way to putting that right and we will be going even further."
