Kevin McLeod is set to return to the starting line up after missing the Swindon game with an ankle injury but Marc Bircham is suspended having picked up five yellow cards. Gareth Ainsworth will be looking for a starting place on the right with Martin Rowlands moving into the centre whilst Danny Shittu will hope for a start alongside Carlisle. Paul Furlong is back in training but still a little way of a starting place.
For Wednesday, Chris Turner has a mounting injury list ahead of Saturday's game. Midfielder Paul McLaren has a hernia problem, goalkeeper Ola Tidman has a broken hand. Wide man Terry Cooke has a broken foot while utility player Craig Armstrong is struggling with a calf injury. It doesn't end there either as wingers Matthew Hamshaw (cruciate) and Paul Smith (double leg break) are both likely to miss the entire season.
It promises to be a tight encounter bewteen two former Premiership giants. A near capacity crowd is again expected to accompany the game and keep Loftus Road as the cauldron that we all know it!
