Sheff Utd v QPR

Last updated : 13 August 2010 By BBC Sport

QPR defender Peter Ramage is available again after serving a ban, while Heidar Helguson and Kaspars Gorkss are back from international duty.

Akos Buzsaky missed out for Hungary against England because of a thigh problem and will be assessed.

MATCH PREVIEW

Neil Warnock, who took Sheffield United into the Premier League in 2006, returns to Bramall Lane with the QPR side he hopes will secure him another crack at Premier League management before his retires.

There will also be a return to United for goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, who spent eight years at the club before angering many fans by moving to west London in the summer. Midfielders Mikele Leigertwood - who could make his 300th career appearance - and Shaun Derry are also former Blades players.

Big-spending Rangers made a great start to their league season, thrashing Barnsley 4-0 to lead the Championship table after the opening set of matches. But their defence - and Kenny especially - had some shaky moments in that game and then against Port Vale, who beat them 3-1 in the Carling Cup in midweek.

United boss Kevin Blackwell was at that match, before seeing his own team beaten by lower division opposition 24 hours later. His squad for the 2-0 defeat against Hartlepool was so threadbare that coaches Gary Speed and Paul Crichton were among his substitutes.
