The landmark sale took place yesterday morning (Tuesday) and is the first time the club has ever reached five figures in season ticket sales.
The previous club record of 9,100 was surpassed some weeks ago and now the maximum number of tickets on offer (11,300) looks a realistic target with only a few more weeks until the new season commences again in August.
There is a maximum number of tickets in place so that the financially disadvantaged who cannot afford to buy season tickets can still buy matchday tickets at reasonable prices.
Rangers’ Chief Executive David Davies was obviously delighted with the news and spoke to the Official website saying
"Breaking the 10,000 barrier is brilliant news for the club and just goes to show how attractive QPR games have become.
"Promotion has given us a real lift, but this news is a clear indication that we are continuing to make great progress and the whole club can’t wait for the new season to get underway".
