Eric Sabin has joined Division Three club Boston United on a one month loan.

The French striker has made only six starts for Rangers since his arrival from Swindon Town in the summer, and has found it increasingly difficult to force his way into Rangers’ first team.

Boston are currently nineteenth in the Thrid Division, and have been looking to bring in a loan striker to help consolidate their standing.

With the arrival of Tony Thorpe earlier in the season, and Jamie Cureton in recent weeks, Sabin has been used mainly from the s bench, making 10 appearances as substitute.

The French forward has been one of the most consistent performers in Tim Breacker’s Reserve team this season.

Sabin impressed sufficiently for Boston to move in on a loan deal, which was rushed through late last night so that the striker would be available for Boston’s home clash tonight against Southend United.
