The 19-year-old is set to leave Arsenal in search of first-team football and could be set for a move to Loftus Road.
Holloway featured for Rangers in a reserve match on Wednesday along with fit-again midfielder Marcus Bean and defender Richard Edghill.
Rangers manager Ian Holloway is currently without Chris Day and Nick Culkin and his only available keeper is Lee Camp, who is on loan from Derby.
