QPR have been drawn at home to Manchester City in the Carling Cup third round. It promises to be an interesting encounter in which Rangers can pit their wits against a Premiership side and see just how far they'v come with Ian Holloway. After defeating Cheltenham Town and Sheffield United away in the previous rounds, they have now a home draw to contend with. This will be City's first Carling Cup game having only just entered at the third round due to European excursions.
City are in-form this season and looking for a top 8 finish under Kevin Keegan. the game will also see former Rangers Trevor Sinclair and David Seaman return to where they once played their trade.
