Rangers looking to push on

QPR go into the Championship clash with Forest this afternoon looking to move into a play-off position for the first time under Paulo Sousa.

Rangers will move into the top six if they win and Preston lose at the Majeski today.

Forest will provide a stiff test for the R's, having witnessed a huge change in form during the last month, thanks to the arrival of former Derby manager Billy Davies. He has recorded four wins in his last five league games at the helm.

Rangers will nonetheless be dissapointed with anything less than three points today, having won their last two games on the road, including a 2-0 victory at Derby. The Rams themselves knocked Forest out of the FA Cup this week, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2.

Lee Cook misses the trip, having picked up five yellows cards, so Hogan Ephraim is expected to come in. Meanwhile, Rowan Vine is still some way off match fitness, having returned to training following a broken leg.

Lee Camp will be hoping to feature against the team he played for on-loan this season, but could make way for Radek Cerny, who is fit again after a hamstring injury. Forest meanwhile, are sweating on the fitness of captain James Perch.
