Chairman Bill Power today confirmed a bid for the 19-year old keeper to break the silence from the club.

Although County went public on the offer they haven't actually been in contact with the Superhoops since, leaving the club very much in the dark.

Power said (speaking to the official website):

"We tabled a formal offer to Derby for Lee late yesterday afternoon and we have yet to receive any official notification from them that this offer is unsatisfactory.

"We understand that the Management and Board of Derby County have discussed our bid and subsequently made a public announcement yesterday evening.

"Nevertheless, no formal contact has been made with Queens Park Rangers and we are still hopeful that a deal is there to be done with the player."
