QPR v Watford

Last updated : 19 April 2010 By BBC Sport

Watford cannot select striker Heidar Helguson under the terms of his loan move from QPR.

Lloyd Doyley and Will Buckley (both hamstring) remain doubtful, and Jay DeMerit could miss out with a knock.

MATCH PREVIEW

Despite Queens Park Rangers' defeat at home to Cardiff, results elsewhere over the weekend made the west London club mathematically safe from relegation.

But Watford remain in serious danger of slipping into League One. The Hornets are two points and two places above the drop zone, and were thrashed 4-1 at Leicester on Saturday.

Watford boss Malky Mackay, the Championship's youngest manager, has seen his side go 15 away matches without a win and knows ending that run would be a massive step towards safety.

And Neil Warnock, the division's oldest manager, knows he has work to do ahead of next season and a sizeable budget to do it with. In the meantime, the QPR boss wants to give a number of the club's youngsters a chance to impress.
