Promotion means money to Burnley

Stan may have gone, but he has earned the cash-strapped Clarets a timely £75,000 boost by insisting on a clause in the deal that took Arthur Gnohere to QPR in February.

Kilby said: "The £75,000 bonus was negotiated by Stan if Rangers ended up winning promotion to Division One after signing Arthur.
"It is certainly a nice bonus for us and there is also the provision for another £75,000 if Rangers stay in Division One next season, so the move could turn out to be very beneficial to Burnley Football Club."

Meanwhile, Glen Little will undergo a medical at Reading on Thursday before becoming their first summer signing.

The Clarets winger has already verbally agreed a new three-year deal with the Royals.
