The club confirmed on Tuesday that Gianni Paladini has invested in the club and for Chief Executive David Davies it signals the end of months of painstaking negotiation.
"It is a massive step forward for the club," confirmed Davies this week. "He will be fairly active within the club, having made a substantial investment and I think he is likely to be based at Loftus Road when he is in England.
