Pacquette on trial at Stags

Rangers striker Richard Pacquette is training at Third Division Mansfield Town with a view to a loan move.

The 21-year-old forward spent yesterday in Nottinghamshire and will train with the Stags again today before a decision is made. Assistant Manager Kenny Jackett confirmed the news.

He said: "Mansfield want have a look at Richard before deciding anything and that's fine by us. We should know whether anything will come of it on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning."

One player not going anywhere for the time being is Wes Daly. The young midfielder has not been able to agree terms with Ryman Premier League outfit Grays Athletic and returned to first team action with a late substitute appearance for Rangers at Chesterfield.
