Ian Holloway admits he still has to pinch himself to make sure he is not dreaming when he hears the roar of the Loftus Road faithful.
An impressive pre-Christmas crowd of over 15,000 packed into the stadium to cheer QPR to a 4-1 win over Hartlepool last weekend.
And Hoops boss Holloway reckons that level of support has helped lift his team to the Second Division summit.
He told the club's official website: "It was tremendous - what a noise. I still have to pinch myself."
Rangers will be relying on that support to follow them away from home in the run-up to Christmas with trips to Oldham and Notts County.
