Managers comments after the cracking win over Palace

"At 2-1 down today I still fancied us to win and we finished like a train. It was a great game, which you could see by the way the fans stayed behind to celebrate with the players."

"Simon Jordan is a very supportive chairman and I'm embarrassed for him," said Taylor. "I want a better team for him. We're not showing it at the moment but he's been first class.

"There's always pressure, you put pressure on yourself. It's not working out as nicely as I thought it would when I came here, and I'm surprised at the position we're in, but that's the strength of the Championship.

"I can't complain about the effort the players are putting in, but we have to improve our defending.

"We scored a couple of good goals, but went in at half-time at 2-1 and we needed a third goal. We had opportunities but didn't put them away and our defending wasn't good enough."
