"It's our best performance since I've been here," said Magilton.
"We've shown glimpses of that in other games but we've taken our opportunities today.
"I thought we were excellent."
Adel Taarabt was amongst the scorers and Magilton was delighted with the on-loan from Tottenham midfielder's superb goal.
"He has that in spades, he's a genius," Magilton added.
"He's a dying breed in the modern game, the way he goes past people, and the finish was pure class."
