Our clash against Watford at Vicarage Road will be screened live in front of SKY SPORTS viewers after the company chose our first away game in the newly-named Coca Cola Championship to be aired.
The game will now take place 24 hours earlier than first planned on Monday August 9th at 7.45pm.
Watford had a disappointing campaign last season ending 16th and with severall former Hornets in the Rangers squad it promises to be an entertaining encounter.
Lee Cook is close to signing for Rangers from Watford and Chris Day and Richard Johnson have both enjoyed spells at Vicarage Road. The last time the two sides met at Vicarage, Watford came out 3-1 winners.
Our home game with Sheffield United has been moved back 24 hours on police advice, to avoid clashing with the Notting Hill Carnival on Bank Holiday Monday. The game will now take place on Tuesday August 31st at 7.45pm.
