Both strikers have been sidelined for more than two months, top scorer Helguson with a groin injury and summer signing Campbell with a hamstring problem.
Manager Mark Hughes will be hoping both can play a part in QPR's Barclays Premier League survival effort, especially with Djibril Cisse having three games of a four-match ban still to serve.
Cisse's absence put even more pressure on Bobby Zamora to score the goals to keep Rangers up and it emerged that the England forward defied illness to lead the line in Saturday's shock 2-1 win over Arsenal.
He told club website www.qpr.co.uk: "I wasn't very well on the Friday night, but I always try to put in a shift.
"It was just pleasing to get through the game to be honest, because I didn't feel the best before the game."
Zamora has scored only twice in nine appearances since his January move from Fulham but was given a standing ovation for his all-round performance when he was substituted late on against Arsenal.
"The ovation was nice," he said. "I didn't go over the far side of the pitch to milk the applause from the fans! I did it to try to kill the clock a bit more.
"I'll always work hard and put in a shift. I did my job on Saturday in terms of holding the ball up and bringing others into play, and on that note, I'm very pleased with my form. The goals haven't come as much as I'd want, but I'll always give my all."
Blackburn's defeat against Manchester United last night lifted QPR out of the drop zone on goal difference.
