Forbes To Sign Again?

Last updated : 13 July 2004 By Mark O' Haire
Terrell Forbes is close to agreeing a new short term deal to help ease the defensive crisis at Loftus Road.
Steve Palmer and Clarke Carlisle have already left this summer and Forbes was released with them, leaving the backline looking serverly thin.
However, Forbes has yet to find a new club and has been training with the Rangers squad as he looks to keep his fitness up. Forbes has also gone with the R's squad to Scotland on their pre-season tour.
It is thought if Ian Holloway cannot find any new defenders in time for the season opener with Rotherham United on August 7th, he will sign Forbes on a short term contract until cover can be found.
Terrell can play as a centre back or at right-back and is at the moment being investigated over an alledged rape incident.
