Early team news for today's game against Sheffield United

Rangers go into this afternoon's clash with Sheffield United looking for a first win at home in six and hoping to restore some pride after a demoralising month of results.

Visitors Sheffield United are unbeaten in their last 13 league games away from home and have lost just two of their last 18 in the league, both home and away.

Lee Cook is expected to return to the squad, following a knee problem, while Hogan Ephraim could also be involved after an appearance from the bench in midweek.

New boy Jordi Lopez should keep his place in the side, after an impressive full debut against Norwich.

Meanwhile, Kevin Blackwell is expected to make few changes to the side that won at the Ricoh Arena during the week. John-Joe O'Toole and Danny Webber are both pushing for starts.

However, Gary Speed, Ugo Ehiogu and Derek Geary will all miss out.
