Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Chris Day is ready to return to action following a shin problem.
Day will play in a reserve game on Tuesday and should then be in contention for Rangers' important match against Luton this weekend.

"It's been frustrating for me but I'm able to play now and I want to be involved as we've got some big games coming up," he said.

"I'll get a game under my belt and then take it from there."

Day needed surgery after his shin became infected, while second-choice keeper Nick Culkin has since been sidelined by a knee injury.

Their absence prompted boss Ian Holloway to sign Lee Camp on loan from Derby.

"I'm not sure how my problem happened but it was important to get it sorted out and I have done," Day added.

"It's an exciting time for us as we're going for promotion and not playing is difficult."
