Clarke on target in QPR cruise

Summer signing Leon Clarke struck twice as QPR romped to a 4-1 friendly win against Equipe Romagna in Italy. Hogan Ephraim opened the scoring after 44 minutes with his sixth goal of pre-season against a side made up entirely of former Serie A players looking for new clubs. The Rs extended their advantage after 57 minutes when Josh Parker centred for Clarke to bundle the ball home. Parker latched onto a through ball before tapping in the third nine minutes later and Clarke completed the rout with a curling finish into the far corner.
