Camp Close to Sealing Deal

Rangers are apparently set to sign goalkeeper Lee Camp from Derby on a three year deal.

Camp (20 next month), ended last season on loan at Loftus Road and Rangers have been in talks with Derby's officials ever since over the avilability of the Ram to sign permanently.

The fee agreed between the two clubs will base itself on appearances and future honours for the stopper plus Derby will net a large percentage of any future fee for the highly-rated former England youth international.

Camp joined the Superhoops in March and produced a string of fine performamces to help them win promotion from the Second Division before going public over his joy and experience in West London. Despite being a Derby fan he made no secret of his wish to return should he not make the County starting X1.

It now seems that Derby who slapped a minimum £500,000 price-tag on Camp in early June have finally given in to Rangers and are close to sealing the transfer.

Ollie is also close to capturing Ipswich defender George Santos on a free transfer and Aaron Brown from Bristol City. Santos is being monitored closely by Burnley but it seems Rangers are the new favourites to sign the Frenchman. Meanwhile, Brown has been courted by Stoke City but it is widely thought that Rangers may pip the Potters to his signing.

QPR MAD will bring you the latest on all three players' possible moves as soon as we hear it.
