Arsenal eye Queens Park Rangers star Adel Taarabt

Taarabt was a key player for Queens Park Rangers during their season in the second flight of English football. With 19 goals and 19 assists ? Queens Park Rangers won the league convincingly, although their return to the top flight has been somewhat, different.

Narrowly avoiding relegation last season and currently bottom of The Barclays Premier League and having not won a league game this season, it is fair to suggest QPR are struggling.

Albeit a very talented squad, manager Mark Hughes is struggling to cement the side together. The side do play some cracking football at times ? but are yet to earn 3 points this campaign, with already 10 games gone.

One bright spark however is the magic that Adel Taarbat is able to bring to the side. Although a difficult player at times ? the Morrocan is capable of producing the flair and skill which on his day, could get him in any Barlcays Premier League side.

It is rumoured that Wenger is a big fan of the Morrocan and will go for the attack minded midfielder in January. QPR value Taarabt at around ?15million? however Arsene Wenger believes he can get his man for a cut price of just ?10million.

The mercurial Morrocan joined Queens Park Rangers from North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on loan in 2009 ? before signing a permanent deal. Taarabt has failed to produce the similar level's in the Barlcays Premier League compared to The Championship ? perhaps with better players around him the Morrocan will soon begin to shine.
