Just 60 seconds after the restart Rangers began there fight back as Kevin Gallen hit his 16th goal of the season. In urgent need to dampen down the visitors drive towards an equaliser, Wycombe's Faulcombridge came close to easing the home fans nerves with a rare header that slipped just wide.

A wind-assisted equaliser arrived on 68 minutes thanks to former Wycombe youngster Martin Rowlands, his 25-yard lob drifting over a stationary Wycombe keeper.
