Warnock remaining upbeat

Rangers went 19 matches unbeaten until they lost 3-1 against Watford last week, and they promptly crashed to another defeat at Leeds on Saturday.

But they remain in pole position, three points clear of Leeds, heading into the festive period.

"We have played nine of the top 10 sides in the division away from home so we just have to keep going and stop feeling sorry for ourselves after two defeats in a row," said Warnock.

"If you had told me we would be top at Christmas after losing only two games I would have snapped your hand off."
