The pair joined the squad in Ibiza for Rangers’ pre-season tournament and featured in the 5-0 thrashing against Saint Antoni.

Chambers (24) finished last season at Kidderminster after making 70 appearances for the Baggies and so far Ollie has liked what he’s seen.

Speaking to the official website, Ollie said:

“Adam Chambers comes highly recommended and I have to say he’s looked good in training.

“He deserves his chance out here and we’ll see where we go from there.”

Hugo was recommended by Nigerian team-mate Danny Shittu. Both Hugo and Chambers are full-back and could be possible replacements for Gino Padula who left for Nottingham Forest.
