Team News ahead of Carling Cup Clash

Tony Thorpe is definately out of QPR's Carling Cup 3rd Round game against Manchester City tonight. Thorpe is cup-tied from his spell at Luton earlier in the season.
Paul Furlong is back in training and will be subject to a late fitness test to see whether he will participate in tonights clash.
Gareth Ainsworth is also a doubt having picked up a slight knock against Tranmere on Saturday.
Dan Shittu continues to make excellent progress in his injury comeback and Matthew Rose recently came back to training following his injury battles.
Richard Pacquette is on stand-by to play upfront tonight and Steve Palmer in midfield if called upon.
Manchester City are expected to bring a full-strength squad to Loftus Road. Steve McManaman is the only big name missing, he will be rested. Elsewhere the game may see returns to West London for David Seaman and Trevor Sinclair who have both pulled on the blue and white of QPR in there carears.
The tie looks to be an interesting pairing of two outgoing sides looking good in there respective leagues. It promises to be an outstanding battle.
