R's pick up point in wind swept wycombe

Goals from Martin Rowlands and Kevin Gallen sparred Rangers' blushes as they took a point from a wind swept Causeway Stadium.
Any sort of football was impossible in the conditions as goalkeepers struggled to kick the ball further than their penalty areas. It was a real game of two halves.
Wycombe took a two-goal lead into half time after Rangers' sleepy 3 centre-backs fell asleep as they conceeded two soft goals.
The R's rarely threatened in the first half against the wind as they struggled to adapt to the blustery conditions.
The second-half began in much the same vane-but the R's on the attack and scoring in the first two minutes of the half. Kevin Gallen brought down a Kevin McLeod cross superbly to side-foot past the Wycombe keeper with the ball bouncing in off the post.
The goal sent the away following wild as 2000+ fans belived the comeback was on. With Bristol losing at home and Plymouth drawing at Luton they sensed their chance to gain ground.
Martin Rowlands completed the comeback with a cross which got caught in the wind to bizarrly end up in the net. For 20 minutes Rangers pressed for the winner, introducing Jamie Cureton but chances were at a primeum and Tony Thorpe and Gallen both came close to winning it but for some decent saves from Williams in the Chairboys goal.
In the end a point seemed fair considering the conditions and Rangers fielding a new green and white hooped shirt.
