R's held by Robins

Despite rattaling the woodwork twice and having efforts scooped off the line, QPR could only force a point at Loftus Road against Bristol City.
The R's came out of the traps flying and pressured City for the first half-hour. In that time Martin Rowlands had a curling free-kick smash against the underside of the crossbar from 30 yards and later Paul Furlong crashed the bar with a rasping free-kick from 20 yards.
It was a tale of the free-kicks as from a Gino Padula free-kick Kevin Gallen headed straight at the Bristol keeper from 5 yards out. HT 0-0
The second half started similar to the first with the R's dominating but City playing some neat and pretty football when in possesion. Miller looked lively up front for the Robins but the R's continued to thread probing balls at the City defence.
The deadlock was broken on 67 minutes. A free-kick wide to the right saw Padula swing in a curling effort that deceived the Bristol and flew into the far corner.
Within two minutes the scores were level. A laps of concentration let Miller in to fly a shot past Chris Day in the QPR goal- against the run of play.
Seconds later Miller was sent off for a second bookable offence and the R's pressure didn't let up.
The game ended at 1-1 which will be seen as two points dropped in the promotion challenge, especially when dominating so much.
