Second half goals from Richard Pacquette and Dennis Oli earned Rangers an away victory in a friendly at Aldeshot this afternoon.
The game also saw the return of Terrell Forbes from injury who slotted in at centre-back for the R's. He and Wes Daly both played the whole 90 minutes as they step up there combacks for a first team place.
It was a very young Rangers side including two trialists as the R's squad has become increasingly thin.
Pacquette saw a first half penalty saved but made up for it with a second half strike, with Oli wrapping the game up after enjoying much the better of things.
Speaking afterwards, Tim Breacker said he was satisfied with his team's efforts.
"Generally we did quite well and at half time we told the players that the chances would come if they preserved. They kept going in the second in the second half and got their reward.
"Wes and Terrell both looked in good shape and suffered no problems.
"Having come up against Division One sides in each of our three league games, it was nice for the younger players to get a bit of respite today and I think they did very well."
