Reserves back to winning ways

Marien Ifura scored the only goal of the game on 52 minutes, heading home a corner from Danny Murphy. The side included Junior Agogo, who has spoke of his desire to stay at QPR. "I'm not getting paid at the moment. I'm just trying to show Ian Holloway that I can do a job. QPR are a good club and I want to stay here. I've got to show the manager I can be a part of his future plans and that's what I'm hoping to do."

Holloway said of the striker: "He's worked very hard in training and I've rewarded him. I've told him about next year and that I'm looking to try and bring people in. We need someone with pace and power up front and if he wants to show me he has got that, then it's down to him."

The 22-year-old started his career at Sheffield Wednesday after a spell in America, and has signed for QPR on a non-contract basis.

The reserves need to win their remaining three matches to stand any chance of ousting Portsmouth off the top of the table.
