Rehman and Jones out for Stoke game

Bircham has travelled with the squad after making good progress in his recovery from a hamstring problem, while Cook is expected to return after a rib injury.

Bircham's availablity would allow boss John Gregory to move Kevin Gallen up front alongside Dexter Blackstock in place of Jones, who like Rehman must serve a ban after picking up five yellow cards.

Rehman's absence will hand a recall to either Matthew Rose or Mauro Milanese, and on-loan defender Michael Mancienne is being considered for a centre-back spot.

Youngsters Dominic Shimmin and Pat Kanyuka remain sidelined with hamstring injuries, while Gareth Ainsworth (ankle) and Steve Lomas (knee) are also still out.
