Rangers target Arsenal prospect

A fee has been agreed for the 17-year-old, who has played for England at Under-16 level and is regarded as a major prospect.

Shimmin is the second Gunners youngster to be targeted by Rangers since the club's appointment of John O'Brien as youth recruitment officer.

O'Brien previously worked at Arsenal and was instrumental in Matt Hislop's recent move to Loftus Road.
