RANGERS CLOSE IN ON MOVE FOR MOORE

Ian Holloway has been tracking the 21-year old striker from Aston Villa since January but a permanent deal for the player seemed out of the question.

After two previous loan moves had been scuppered in January, Holloway returned this summer and the club have had an “undisclosed bid” accepted by the Villa Park club.

Despite David O’Leary believing the youngster had a bright future at Villa, he reluctantly accepted Moore’s request to speak to Rangers and agree a deal in West London.

 

Moore should complete the move in the next week for a fee believed to be around £250,000.
