QPR midfielder Martin Rowlands described their 1-0 victory over Blackpool as a "really big win".
Rowlands netted before half-time as Rangers narrowed the gap on leaders Plymouth to two points.
"Our target now is to get back on top. Blackpool made it hard for us but we came through it and we're determined to keep winning," said Rowlands.
"It was the kind of game you need to win if you're looking to finish top of the league."
