Viduka was banned from Leeds' match against Manchester United last weekend after failing to play for his country against Venezuela in Caracas.

But the Australians will avoid any similar disputes with European-based players by playing a friendly with South Africa at Loftus Road on March 30.

QPR have already hosted internationals featuring Nigeria, Jamaica and Paraguay in recent seasons, but the west London club now hope to provide a regular venue for Australian internationals.

Chief executive David Davies told the club's official website: "The stadium generates a fantastic atmosphere when full.

"Hopefully this will be the beginning of a long and successful relationship between Australian Soccer and Queens Park Rangers Football Club."
