Ollie Odds Slashed

The Wolves chairman Jex Moxey has received a few set-backs in his search for Dave Jones' successor and it seems he has now turned to Rangers man Ollie.

The reality is such that Blue Square have sensationally cut Ollie's price from 10/1 down to 2/1 favourite.

The move was brought about following a flood of bets in Ollie's direction yesterday which coincided with his absence from the R's training ground.

Moxey has insisted that interviews are still being conducted and are likely to drag on until next week at the earliest.

According to the local rag Express & Star both Micky Adams and John Gregory didn't get interviewed until yesterday evening meaning Rick Hayward has other candidates on his mind.

The Blue Square stat is certainly something that Rangers fans do not want to know of but SURELY is a slight indication that Ollie IS a serious target.

Ollie is on a month-to-month contract meaning the R's would not receive any £ in compensation.

Although Holloway according to many fans at Wolves would be a great option Moxey stated there is still loads to do to get the right man in "We are progressing well and moving as quickly as possible, but these things take time,"

"There won't be an appointment until next week at the earliest and the interviews are not necessarily over.

"Then even when we get to the position of making a decision we have got to go through the whole process of sorting out contracts and an exit strategy if our choice is in a job."
