Albion manger Mark Mcghee has branded QPR defender Clarke Carlisle a "bully" following his role in the booking which has cost Leon Knight a ban.
Television replays showed Knight was caught off the ball by Carlise during the second half od Sundays LDV Vans Trophy exit at loftus road.
No action was taken against the centre half but Knight was cautioned and misses the home game against Wycombe on Boxing Day.
McGhee originally thought thatRangers goalkeeper Nick Culkin was the culprit. "I havent seen it again myself but everyone tells me, including Leon, that he was struck by the lad Carlisle," said the Seagulls boss.
"He was just being a bully. Leon is a wee boy and He's an easy target. I think it's a shame and i would hope Ian (Holloway) would look at it.
"We are not going to make a scene, thats the end of it as far as i'm concerned, but i would like to think Ian will look at it and realise that something did go on."
