Kulcsar opts for retirement

The 34-year-old told tribalfootball.com, "I would have liked one more season, but after leaving QPR I went to Singapore and stayed there for a month — leaving the responsibility of finding a club to my agent. Unfortunately nothing concrete came up and I was paying large amounts of rent, so I decided that there had to be a cut off date.

"I gave it as long as I could, but then had to make the decision — which I knew there would be no turning back from. So the family and I jumped on a plane headed for down under.

"I definitely would like to stay in the game in some capacity other than playing and have applied for a few positions, but I'll have to wait and see. Unfortunately the feedback I am getting is that my experiences of playing overseas for over ten years counts for very little."

Kulcsar still looks out for QPR's results — "I believe the club is still in administration, but on a positive note they are doing well at present and it might be optimistic at the moment, but in the near future a return to the Premiership would not be unrealistic."
