Harts reign got off to a superb start as Mikele Leigertwood fired Rangers into a one-goal lead just two minutes into the match at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon.
However, Rangers' lead was short-lived as Ben Watson played a horrendous back pass straight into the path of Toni Kallio, who crossed the ball into Richard Creswell and he poked a close-range shot into the corner of the net to bring the visitors level.
Rangers tried in vain to grab a winner but theBlades held out to leave West London with a share-of-the spoils.
"I thought we played extremely well," Hart said after the 1-1 draw.
"In the second half we were excellent, it was wave after wave, and we might have had a penalty.
"I'm really pleased with the way they went about their jobs.
"Football managers tend to have their glasses half-full, not half-empty.
"I'm here for six months and I'm happy with that.
"As far as a 'poisoned chalice' is concern, that is not in my thoughts.
"People have said I have jumped from the frying pan into the fire but I don't think that.
"I think this is a great club and it's a privilege to be working here."
