Holloway rants

"I can say that I am not really happy with this bunch of people up here, I don't like the crowd, but I have to ignore it. I find them very abusive, but that's football, so I suppose it's part of my job.

"And when you don't beat them then they can keep rubbing it in, but we were much the better side.

"I hope Northampton get what they want for themselves, but all I'm concerned about is QPR. I would sooner be where we are in the table than where they are. You could see why we are higher in that game, and that's not being rude to Northampton

"They showed some great skill to come back into it and it was a fantastic goal from the little fella. But all it needed was one bloke to engage him on the edge of the box instead of being hesitant and he wouldn't have scored.

"We have a young side and they have to learn, and hopefully they will learn from this because we should have gone away with 3 points"

Holloway has also launched a stinging attack on Ron Noades and Brentford: "For someone who reportedly wanted to buy our ground and to sign Shittu, he should mind his own business."

"That's how I feel about it, and I can tell you that I cannot wait to play Brentford now."

QPR will meet with the Football League today in an attempt to try and lift the transfer embargo enforced last week. "We are going to go there and sort this out. We have done nothing wrong." said Holloway.

All this in a week that started with Holloway getting untold stick from Bristol City fans...
