Gregory. The silent man

It appears the press were kept waiting for an hour but no one, not even the manager came to speak about the victory over the Saints. Gregory enjoyed his second win in two games in charge and is thought to be creating a new stricter regime at Loftus Rd. Quite why he would'nt speak to the press though, at the moment, remains a mystery.

George Burley was talking and he said.

"We've been on a good run but that's the type of league this is, you can't afford to give goals away."

On keeper Kelvin Davis' howler that gave Rangers the win Burley said

"Kelvin has been outstanding for us since he's been here. But he tried to let the ball run out and the player has kept it in and slipped it into an empty net."

"He'll save us plenty of times in the future but today he's made a mistake and it's cost us.

"At 1-0 up we were looking like we could get three or four. But we handed a couple of goals to QPR and they took advantage. We had a decent first half but to go 2-1 down was a massive blow to us.

"And in the last 20 minutes we had lots of pressure but the ball wouldn't break for us."
