Speaking to QPR World, he said: "It's been spoken about for a while and a few things have got in the way, but finally I'm here and I'm very pleased."

"I've known Ian for a very long time and worked under him. I've always kept in touch and he's given me advice. He's put in a lot of hard work to get me here and now hopefully I can repay him. I nearly had to go back but Ian's pulled out the stops to get me here. It's nice to know that a manager's got faith in you and it gives you confidence."

"Everyone I've spoken to has said that QPR are the strongest side in the division. It's not very often you come to a club on the brink of something and it's very exciting.

"I've had one promotion in my career and it's an amazing feeling. If I can get another one here it will be brilliant."
