Bees boss Martin Allen is keen to capture the striker before his QPR contract finishes at the end of the season and has expressed some interest in Gareth Ainsworth, whose current deal also expires in the summer.

Meanwhile, Aaron Brown is set to sign a contract that will tie him to Rangers until the end of next season.

Brown, who has not played a first-team match since suffering a broken leg a year ago, joined Rangers on a non-contract basis last summer after leaving Bristol City.

The 24-year-old has now played in a number of reserve games and is very much part of Ian Holloway's plans for next season.
