66-1...You're Having A Laugh

Rangers can be found at anything from 33/1 to 66/1 to win the Championship, an excellent price for punters but surely not a realistic reflection on the improvements of the club.

Rangers finished the season 11th last term and are challenging themselves to better that this season with the playoffs in mind. As well as adding quality in Stefan Moore, Tommy Doherty, Simon Royce and Ian Evatt, Rangers still possess Championship standard players in Marc Bircham, Lee Cook, Kevin Gallen, Paul Furlong, Gareth Ainsworth and Martin Rowlands.

This coupled with the possibility of signing Tore Andre Flo mean surely the bookies (supposedly in the know) are pretty blind when it comes to anything outside the Premiership.

In fact most predict Preston can repeat last season’s exploits this term, as well as Derby and that Wolves and Ipswich will challenge for automatic promotion when both have sold and let go key player’s,

As expected last year’s Premiership sides, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Norwich are all favourites to return to the top flight, but at a price as long as 66-1, surely Rangers are worth a gamble!
