QPR manager Ian Holloway has handed trials to former Gillingham striker and former Watford marksman Johan Gudmundsson.

Ipoua played for Holloway at Bristol Rovers and is keen to leave Livingston, while Norwegian midfielder Gudmundsson wants to return to England after a spell in Norway. Both players earned run-outs in a 3-2 friendly defeat against Wycombe at the Causeway Stadium on Tuesday.

But an injury to Gareth Ainsworth spoiled the match for Holloway, who could be without the midfielder for the trip to Blackpool.

Ainsworth was stretchered off, requiring stitches to a cut on his foot which leaves him doubtful for the Division Two clash at Bloomfield Road.

Steve Palmer and Eric Sabin scored the goals for a strong Rangers line-up in the specially-arranged match.
